Kirtland Electronics was incorporated in the state of Utah on 26 May, 2009.
I am an electronics technician with over 25 years of combined military and civilian electronics experience. I have worked with surface mount devices under a stereo magnifier in the workplace, building and troubleshooting the engineering prototypes. I have also been restoring vacuum tube audio and radio equipment as a hobby for over 25 years.
Several years ago, I began to learn the guitar. Now I am incorporating my love of electronics with music by building guitar amplifiers. Current designs are low-power vacuum tube (valve) amplifiers suitable for bedroom or practice use.
Other interests include guitar effects pedals, synthesizers, and virtually any electronic noisemaking device. Nixie tubes are also a favorite to explore a nearly forgotten display technology prior to LEDs and LCDs.
